Jacek Kuderski

This is a short bio of Jacek Kuderski. When you're done, you can jump to the icon page, or read more about Przemek Myszor, Artur Rojek, Wojtek Powaga, or Wojciech "Lala" Kuderski.
Jacek Kuderski, aka Jaca, graced the world with his presence on 28 August 1970, and several years later ended up in the rhythm section of the group Der Kinder Trager with his brother Wojtek [Lala]. Fatefully, the two of them ended up replacing two members of another group, The Freshmen, which later became known as Myslovitz. Jaca was then launched into stardom, much to the delight of ladies all over Poland. Somewhere along the way, Jacek was a metallurgy engineer and an accomplished footballer/soccer player, as well.

He says of Myslovitz, "Myslovitz is five individuals joined by music, but not just guitar music. Simply the creation of music." That is, he said that if I understood the Polish correctly.

These days, Jaca is primarily the bassist of the group, but he sings backing vocals as well. He has taken the lead vocal before, with the song "Bunt szesnatolatki" way back in 1996. In addition, he has sung one track for the group Lotyń - "Skowronki wiedzą że nigdy się nie dowiedzą" - and has produced an album of theirs. Jacek says that it was never his intention to play the bass; he preferred just regular guitar, but the original members Wojtek Powaga and Artur Rojek had already covered those bases. He claims that he's only just average in his musical skills, which he'd taught himself as a kid, but some would say he's just being modest.

This doesn't have anything to do with Jacek himself, but a little side-note is that Myslovitz USA started off more like Jacek USA. In 2002, when I discovered Myslovitz, I had a hell of a time trying to find a single piece of information about the group in a language I could understand. I thought having a fan page for who was then my favorite member (and still is, but don't tell anyone) would attract the information to me! Slowly, I started incorporating the other members of the group into the Jacek page, although Myslovitz as a whole wasn't the focus until about July of the following year. Until I revamped the site early in 2005, most of the band photos were just Jacek, as a result of Myslovitz USA's beginnings, but I remedied that because, in the very slim chance he'd find my site, I didn't want him to think I was one of those insane stalker-fans. I still have twice the icons of Jacek than I do for anyone else, though!
