Przemo Myszor was born on the July 13, 1969, making him the oldest member of the group. He is also the tallest one, and the only one who regularly wears glasses, if you ever need to pick him out of a lineup. His first name, Przemysław, has been described as "impossible" at least once -- and I've personally tried to teach people how to say it with very little success. I would be puzzled, but embarrassingly, I have a more difficult time pronouncing "Artur" than I do "Przemo". :] Back to the relevant facts, Przemo didn't just pick up music as a pasttime; he studied it intesively at a music academy and had his own band, October's Children. He became a teacher after that. Przemo was the final member to join Myslovitz. Artur had to ask him twice before he finally joined. He didn't make an appearance until after the release of their first album, Myslovitz, in 1995. In the band, Przemo is a versatile member who lends his talents at keyboards, guitar, and vocals. Probably his best skill is in music writing. He's penned a few songs himself for both Myslovitz and other artists (including "Bo jesteś ty" for Krzysztof Krawczyk). (Don't say anything, but I cried at maybe one or two.) One of his most noteworthy songs, "To nie był film," ended up being rather controversial, since it included the testimony of a killer. The media began saying that the lyrics were somehow encouraging violent behavior, when in fact the message of the song was the complete opposite. It was both banned and a winner of an award the year it was released. Przemo has a wife, Danuta, and two children. Do you have anything to add or correct? Just want to talk about Przemo? Leave a |
